Beware of Unauthorized & Fake Impersonator Apps
We have noticed unauthorized third-party apps (such as "Rechup Recharge App", unofficial APK links, or Telegram groups) falsely claiming association with us. Please verify that you are transacting exclusively on the genuine Rechup Pay platform.
If you were defrauded by an unauthorized clone app, please lodge an immediate complaint at the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal at cybercrime.gov.in (Toll-Free Helpline: 1930) and notify your bank to initiate a fraud dispute.
Device-SIM Binding Guide
Learn why Rechup Pay binds your session to your physical SIM card and what to do if you swap device settings.
- 1Ensure your registered SIM card is inserted in Slot 1 or Slot 2 of your current mobile device.
- 2When logging in, the Rechup Pay app will verify your SIM card details automatically via SMS.
- 3Swapping or removing the SIM card will log you out immediately to secure your wallet.
- 4To log back in, re-insert the SIM and complete the OTP verification process.
KYC Verification Walkthrough

- 3Upload clear front/back photos of your Aadhaar card and PAN card.

Wallet Rules & Refunds
Understand how your Rechup Pay closed-loop wallet works and how refunds are processed.
- 1Wallet top-ups are enabled in the app via UPI and payment gateways (Min ₹50, Max ₹5,000 per transaction). Funds are also credited via cashbacks and refunds.
- 2Wallet balances can only be utilized for recharges and utility bills — no bank withdrawals permitted under normal operation.
- 3Failed recharge amounts are automatically refunded directly back to your Rechup Pay wallet with 0% fee.
- 4Refund processing and verification typically take 5 minutes to 7 business days.
Rooted & Custom OS Restrictions

- 1Rechup Pay allows usage on rooted/jailbroken devices but applies security caps.
- 2Successful recharge transactions are capped at 1 transaction per month on rooted devices.
