Why Some Data Cannot Be Deleted
Indian law requires financial platforms to retain certain records for compliance, taxation, and anti-money laundering purposes. These records are stored in an encrypted, access-restricted archive and are never used for marketing, analytics, or operational activity. Applicable laws include: Indian IT Act, GST Act, PMLA, and RBI KYC Norms.

Fraud & Dispute Records
Legal ProceedingsIf your account is subject to an ongoing dispute, complaint, or legal/regulatory investigation, all related data will be retained until the matter is fully and officially resolved.
Important: Wallet Balance Policy
RechUP operates a closed-loop wallet. Wallet funds (cashbacks, refunds, and rewards) can only be spent on mobile recharges and utility services — manual deposits, withdrawals, and external transfers are not permitted.
